Life has turned turvey and, as you might guess, topsy. Shannon’s and my lifestyle is nicely stabilizing and showing signs of upturn, but one near and dear to us has had such a monumental downturn that we are spending most of our energy worrying, planning, conspiring with other supporters, trying to work out what is going on and what we can do to help.
All of which is so obfuscated as to be meaningless, but this will come more clear in later weeks.
…
I will say this: other people’s health issues take up a lot of valuable writing time. You’d think people would be considerate and just stay healthy, but there you are. Sometimes even those dear to us are thoughtless.

Bummer! I really hope it’s not me!
It is not you. Health concerns, they are, belonging to a lady in the family. All should be entirely well in Seattle.
Okay. You were too successful at obfuscation, and I lost track! 🙂
Seriously, best wishes to you and yours.
Thank you. I’ll carry them to where they’ll do the most good.
We’ve been thinking of you both, dear friend. See you tomorrow.
